Let me introduce Mrs.Wardlow. A classroom teacher for 23 years, she now is North’s Literacy Coach. Her career spans 10 years working in Fairfax Co., VA, and 5 years in Jefferson County before coming to Oldham County in 1997. Last year, as a part-time 7th grade Language Arts teacher, her classroom’s ceiling had the big question, “WHY?” suspended from it. She always asked her students WHY they were doing what they did, and if they didn’t have a “good” reason, suggested that ‘maybe they shouldn’t be doing it then!’ “Strict but fair,” is how she describes herself when asked. “And always on the lookout for Peanut M&M’s!”
